beth’s story

I have held a Rolfing practice for 16 years in Anchorage while periodically assisting in teaching at the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute in Boulder, CO since 2016.

I completed my Rolfing certification in 2007 and in 2013, I completed my Advanced Rolfing certification in Boulder, CO.

My love for teaching carries over to my Rolfing practice in how I work with educating clients about their bodies. I am a sincere and true believer in the potential Rolfing has to offer any individual willing to give it a try.

Through teaching, studying, and practicing Rolf theory, my understanding of Dr. Rolf’s work is constantly expanding and evolving.

I studied with Ana Forrest in 2009 completing my Forrest Yoga teacher certification. In the following years continued my studies in mentorship with internationally known “Forrest Yoga Guardians” Steve Emmerman and Talya Ring of Inner Fire/Turbo Dog Studio, Chicago.

I have been teaching classes and workshops in the Anchorage community for 14 years. Currently, you can find me at Anchorage Yoga Studio.

Outside of the office, I was born and raised in Girdwood, AK. I come from a competitive athletic background having skied on a national and international stage. Focus, dedication, and hard work play a huge role in my personal ethos. Currently, I am pursuing a degree in philosophy at The University of Alaska. I love to write, teach, create, and spend time outside in the mountains!

I maintain a daily yoga practice to support my own embodiment and mindfulness practice. My personal practice informs me how I can help others live pain free in their body.

My goal as a Rolfing® practitioner is to help you move freely and feel more at ease in your body. I am passionate about facilitating change and helping others achieve their maximum potential.

I am licensed in the state of Alaska to provide manual therapy.
